Web/UX Designer

A little about me

Design, for me, is not just about aesthetics; it's about telling stories and solving problems. Every project I embark upon is an opportunity to craft experiences that resonate deeply with users, leaving a lasting impact. My design philosophy revolves around creating functional and visually captivating designs that seamlessly blend form and function.

One of the most exhilarating feelings is taking a seed of an idea and nurturing it into a full-fledged, tangible creation. I am a fervent believer in the potential of ideas and possess the tenacity to see them through. The thrill of transforming a concept into a functional design or a captivating website is what gets me out of bed each morning.

I became interested in learning design way back in 1998, starting with a Multi-media design program in 1998. when I worked for a small electronics company at the time doing marketing and creating a company web presence. At the time web sites very rudimentary and had to be hand coded. As I created this huge online catalog for this company I found I could work for hours and not even be phased. I loved it. I did not know anything, so I had to teach myself from scratch.

I went back to school for web design in 2010 and never worked in the field. I was intimated and suffered from imposter syndrome enough to keep me out of the job market. Fast forward to now and I am back, more determined than ever to make design part of my everyday life.
